the one that was quoted 600 to remove the subframe bushings, that is not even putting new ones in, just labor.
We don't sell the complete sub-frame for that much Actually I paid 800 for my subframe/NA Rear-end. I thought it was a little pricey, but I wanted it at the time, and didn't want to shop around anymore, so I bought it. I had no problem with the quality of the sub-frame when I got it, and have been happy with it.
It may have been expensive to do this. But $600 come on, where did you get that #? I have an email at home from Russell, quoting 600 to remove the subframe bushings. I can post it when I get home tonight if you would like. I thought this was a little excessive to remove the bushings. So I spent 170 bucks on a 20 ton press and AJ and I did it ourselves. It was a pain in the Ass, but not a 600 dollar pain in the ass. I think it took us, maybe 4-5 hours to remove them, and put the new ones in. I figured he quoted me a high price, cause he didn't want to do them.
If Z1 wants to charge that much money for removing subframe bushings, so be it. I just wasn't willing to pay, some people are.
Your employee, Ash has said "I am ripping people off", by charging 365 for a radiator that is custom built on every order. So be it! It is his and Z1's opinion. At the time there was NO other Drop-In solution under 500 bucks. So we went out, found a guy to build them to our specs and we created a custom drop-in radiator. Sure it is expensive, but each one is hand built, and tested. But the radiator debate has happened too many times. I just let people make up their own minds. We have 100% customer satisfaction and no complaints on the radiators, price and performance. IF they don't like the price don't buy!
